Bride who was fat-shamed by Instagram trolls for her engagement photos gets her happy ending by marrying her ‘prince’
A plus size bride-to-be who was fat shamed for her engagement photos by cruel trolls has had the last laugh by marrying
Mzznaki Tetteh, a nurse from Ghana, walked down the aisle with construction worker Kojo Amoah at the weekend.
Her husband, who goes by the name of A Kojo Prince shared a photo of the newlyweds on Facebook, looking the picture of happiness, which has been liked more than 4,000 times.
Wearing a white birdcage veil and a brocade dress with sheer embellished sleeves, Mzznaki left her hair tumbling around her shoulders in loose curls.
And thankfully this time the couple have received nothing but warm wishes from people as they celebrate the beginning of married life.
Mznakki made headlines earlier this month when she posted a series of photos on Instagram to celebrate her engagement, including one of Kojo joyfully lifting his bride-to-be in his arms.
One cruel troll commented on Mzznaki’s photo, saying: ‘How is that beautiful?’
Another added: ‘He just caught himself a 400 pounder right there.’
Sarkodie_1738 added the jibe: ‘You fat’.
The defiant bride-to-be responded saying: ‘Still confident…your rubbish comments ain’t ruining my happiness…thanks to all for the compliments and best wishes…am honoured.’
Luckily, Mzznaki was able to put the jibes behind her and enjoy the run up to her wedding, which saw her friends throw a surprise bridal shower.
The day before the ceremony, she celebrated by stepping out in a white dress to get into the wedding spirit.
And she paid an emotional tribute to her husband-to-be, detailing her excitement about walking down the aisle.
‘I just can’t imagine what I will do if I didn’t have you to hold my hands and look into my eyes to tell me as yours forever,’ she wrote.
‘Just wanna let u know that the flames of passion between us will never be extinguished. You are the reason why I smile and why our love thrives between miles.
‘I can BOLDLY say am the luckiest woman to have a HUSBAND like you and I want the whole world to know that you will forever be the man for me.
‘Am glad I got the dibs for you. For you are a rare species and probably the last of the world’s best husbands.’
She added: ‘Baby, I love you more than yesterday but not as much as I will tomorrow and I can’t wait to walk down the aisle to say “I do” and spend the rest of my life with you.’
