Music mogul Dr. Dre was cuffed by cops after he was allegedly racially abused by a ranting motorist.
Dr. Dre had a run in with the driver blocking the driveway to his beachfront mansion in Malibu.
The N.W.A. co-founder, rapper and producer got into a dispute with the man who ‘cussed at him’ after moving his vehicle to let him access his driveway, according to TMZ.
The website reported that the driver ‘kept yelling’ and so Dre pulled out his cell phone to capture it on video, according to sources close to the Beats Electronics CEO.
A source told the website the man said: ‘Here we go again, another black guy with a gun.’
Dre was seen speaking with deputies after he’d asked a driver blocking his driveway to move prompting the guy to start yelling at him and then claim Dre had a gun. Deputies did not find a weapon
However, the motorist then called 911 reporting someone pulled a gun on him and that’s when cops showed up and patted down and cuffed Dre.
The LA County Sheriff Deputies did not find a weapon on the Beats By Dre entrepreneur who sold his signature headphones brand to Apple in May 2014 for a rumored $3 billion.
While officers were happy to let Dre go, and he was not arrested, TMZ said, the other driver involved wanted to file a complaint and filled out an incident report.
That report will now be sent to the District Attorney for review.
