It’s been a dramatic couple of days for Chris Brown, who was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon on Tuesday.

And now Page Six is reporting that, due to his anger issues, the 27-year-old has lost a potential role on Starz series Power.

Chris’s pal 50 Cent, 41, had arranged for the starring role, but network execs allegedly stepped in to put a stop to that plan.

What a week! On Monday Chris Brown reportedly found out that execs at Starz had prevented him from appearing on their series Power (pictured in May)

He’s got his back! The role was originally promised to him by his friend 50 Cent, who insisted Chris would still appear on the series despite the setback (pictured in August)

The Loyal singer was supposed to have a big role on Power, playing a drug dealer, a source close to the performer shared.

Drama: Chris was reportedly set to play a drug dealer on Power (pictured: 50 Cent on Power), but execs vetoed the role ‘because of fears about his anger issues’

However, 50 Cent – real name Curtis James Jackson III – had failed to consult the network before promising the role to Chris.

‘The network insisted that Chris’s casting was not going to happen, because of fears about his anger issues,’ a source said.

Longtime friends: Chris and 50 Cent, seen performing together in June 2015, have long been friends and collaborators, with the latter sticking up for Chris amid drama surrounding Tuesday’s gun threat

‘There was a big blowup, and they had to tell Chris he was not going to get the role. The news was delivered to him early Monday. He was livid.’

Despite the network’s response, 50 Cent still told Page Six: ‘Tune into Power next season, because you will see Chris Brown.’
